Globally, more than 62 million adolescent girls don’t have access to education. In emerging countries like Ghana, girls are expected to do chores while their brothers go to school. To help change this, the Peace Corps, TECHAiDE, a local Ghanaian social enterprise, and IBM’s Corporate Service Corps partnered under the Let Girls Learn initiative to give Ghanaian girls greater access to schooling. Working together, they created a business plan, distribution channels and added critical content to educate and empower girls via TECHAiDE’s wi-fi-enabled server named ASANKA, which means “community bowl” in Ghanaian. The server brings internet access & educational content to rural parts of Ghana––and new information to girls who can’t wait to learn.
argument: captain phasma’s armor is supposed to look hot. but, this is the crucial thing, it looks hot from the point of view of the character herself, and makes perfect sense in the context of the story.

phasma has spent like all her life in the first order, as a storm trooper. you ask any storm trooper ‘what would be the sexiest possible modification to your armor’ and none of them are going to say ‘cut a boob window’ they’re gonna say ‘plate it with something HARDCORE’.
after they finish high-fiving, they will probably add, ‘AND STICK A CAPE ON.’

So a while ago I lost(?) someone very dear to me named Tori Garcia (I won’t say her full name here). She lived in Pensacola, Florida (maybe Louisiana?). She loved Wicked and Broadway in general. Great with drawings. Smile that shines like the sun and a killer personality.
Last I knew about her was that she wasn’t doing good in the health department, but I would like to think she just didn’t want to talk to me anymore.
Please….if anyone knows about her….could you please at least let me know if she is okay? Or …. I just…I want to be selfish and ask for closure.
